It's been a while...

Well, it has been a very long time since I have posted anything. Partly because there isn't much to report. Partly because I am lazy.

Saw the Foo Fighters back on March 22nd (has it been over a month already?????). They were awesome....as always. At one point the brought out Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson of Rush to play with Taylor on YYZ. Absolutely incredible!!! I still say the Foos are the best live act....ever. But I do have tickets for Barry Manilow in a couple of months...so I am sure he will give the Foos a run for their money. (Am I allowed to mention the Foo Fighters and Barry Manilow in the same blog post????)

I have had a couple of 'friends' leave work. One left to have a baby and one left to have a baby. Well, one actually had the baby and one left because his partner was having a baby and he decided to move to Ottawa. So it has been a tough adjustment for me at work. I know I am supposed to be working and all. But you spend more time with the people at work than you do with anyone else. So I find the relationships I develop at work are...special (I mean that in a good way). And when you find friends that you can work with, that is a treat. So to have two of my good friends leave at relatively the same time...well, it's been an adjustment.

I love spring. It is my favourite time of year. (Except for the allergies...but that is a story for a different post.) It's the whole renewal thing - starting anew. I am feeling a bit like I need a new start. Maybe not a new start....but a new perspective on things. The last 6 months have been a bit of an adventure for me, and I don't see thing changing any time soon. It's a good thing, but still a bit of an adjustment. I am trying to be patient, and open, and all that stuff. But for those who know me....you know that is a difficult thing for me to do. Patience grasshopper.
